Meeting up with the K family at Sonoma State was the perfect way to get to know them a bit more before I shoot their wedding in June! Little Miss K was quite the charmer. And was kind enough to share the camera a bit with Mommy & Daddy for a few “couples” shots! And to top it off, it was such a beautiful day! Can’t wait for the wedding!
What fun! What weather! What a location! What a great couple! Ok…so if you can’t guess I Love these! We thought for sure it was going to rain, and C was ready with cute umbrellas and rainboots! But we didn’t need them! And we had a lot of fun. I can’t wait for to shoot their wedding in May!
Obviously we headed down to San Francisco, D proposed to C on the Golden Gate Bridge, so we had to encorporate it into the engagement pics! We started in the Headlands area by the old army barracks, and then we ended up at what is not Baker Beach (its Crissy Field)…none of us really know San Fran that well and Baker Beach sounded cool…and I just new I wanted that beach with the bridge in the background. And so we mapped out Baker Beach and its on the westo coast and well NOT what I was thinking…what I was thinking was apparently Crissy Field (which sounds like a field to me and not a beach but they didn’t ask me to name things!)
Here are a few highlighted stills from the music video…I loved the colors, fall flowers…and fun wedding party…
What a beautiful day…and lovely location. We were soo lucky to have clear blue skies on this November morning. Here is just a peek at the wedding pictures! Thank you for having me as your wedding photographer!
Their wedding day weather was the kind of weather that makes even experienced photographers quiver. It was dark. Dark. And raining off and on. And this couple traveled all the way from New York to beautiful Sonoma county, and I was so annoyed with our weather…not showing its best to our guests on their wedding day! But M&V weren’t phased. They didn’t blink. Their happiness was so apparent! No worries as to the weather.
Well, it was a day I really pushed my camera, (for my photog friends…the OUTDOOR pictures where taken at ISO 2000!) Indoors at least I could use my flash! Anyhow. The rain held at bay and we trapsed through the damp leaves and I LOVE how the pictures turned out! As beautiful as their wedding day was.
