K was so fun to hang out with, laid back (and just a little bit country 😉 She’s got me wanting my own pair of Justin boots! We went to a neighbor’s house and played with the cows! So, I have to admit, I have a bit of a traumatic history with cows, a very sweet friendly cow stepped on my flip-flop clad foot and took off my big toe nail!! It grew back (thank goodness, I was really sad to think I might never have a perfect pedi again). But here I was, in flip-flops yet again! I didn’t realize we were going to be playing in a field of cows for the session or I would have dressed appropriately! As it was the session was cow-event free! With gorgeous light and traipsing through super cool barns! Thanks K for a great session!
Sweet, fun, unique (oh and obviously beautiful) it was great hanging out with D. She loves working on cars and rocks her auto shop classes, she even painted those sizzling flames on the hot rod! We started out at riverfront park to get some great shots of the hot rod and then headed up to Geyserville inn and rounded out the evening with just a few in the studio. So. much. fun.
I had a such great time meeting up with S and her mom. I think I she really “had” me when she told me she wants to study diesel engine repair! And maybe go out to Wyoming to go to the best mechanic school around (I know both my uncle and cousin went out there). How cool is that? Add in the mix her sweet pup, Chaz and some amazing evening light. Ahhh one fun session!
And with Mother’s Day coming up tomorrow I just couldn’t help but post several of S and her Mom together. I think its so great that they have a few together. Its so easy to skip out of being in the photos as a mom. Or to put it off for a day that you are thinner, less tired, (insert litany of excuses here). So just remember, get in some pictures even just some snapshots tomorrow!
